  2.   Ok, one more weird post from Schitso....

  4. Is there a PC program which relays input from one com port to output on
  5. another?  There is a PC program for everything, so this has to have been
  6. done, either for this purpose or to relay long distance serial connections.

  8. My problem is that at the moment I have only an internal PC modem.  I hate
  9. PC's.  Slow PC's for sure.  I want to hook my Amiga up to a PC with a null
  10. modem cable.  The program would read the input from com A and write it out
  11. to com B,the modem.  Then read from com B and write it out to com A, the one
  12. connected to the Amiga.  Would this not make the PC the worlds most costly
  13. external modem?  The transfer rate is not all that high in my case, as it is
  14. only a 14.4 modem, although a higher rate could be useful later.

  16. And finally, how it relates to AMOS....

  18. This PC is a 8MB 486 SX40.  It is a real pain to browse on and my mailbox
  19. gets so full the machine cannot handle it and I loose acces to my mail.  I
  20. have to borrow a modem long enough to check it on the Amiga.  Without
  21. something like this I loose access to the AMOS list and sources on the
  22. internet.

  24. If someone knows where to get it or how to write it let me know! PLEASE! I am
  25. too broke to buy a modem right now and have no PC programming knowledge.
